Hi there!

I'm Mark Peou

Born and raised in Melbourne, I've been fortunate enough to have a wide variety of life experiences from travelling all around the world, working in events, hospitality, owning my own cafes and catering business and then retraining into Web Development.

The wide variety of diverse experiences have allowed me to have an empathetic approach to all things in life. Combining my extensive history of customer service in the hospitality, I feel I have a strong connection to UX as in hospitality you are in constant interaction with your customer throughout the many different stages of their overall experience.

My Career so far

I'm one who loves to say yes to new experiences.
I started off as a ballperson at the Australian Open at the age of 13, worked my way through catering, waitering, bars, barista and events such as Laneway Festival, Falls Festival & Dark Mofo.
After an extensive career in hospitality and events. I retrained into Web Development, but with my passion for customer service, I naturally gravitated towards UX. My interests and passion remained in understanding why and who were we building things for.
